INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS WEEKS
International business weeks (IBW) is an intensive five-day training for students from different countries. It is aimed to bring students from different countries and cultures together to work on an international business/financial case. The students work in international groups. The program consists of practical classes with European trainers and teachers, study visits to enterprises/banks/companies and cultural part.
The IBW is provided by consortium of 14 European universities, that was created on May 2018. Every year each university organizes a week of at least 5 working days. It can be provided both offline and online. The organizer defines a finance and/or international business topic as a central theme for the week. It is a part of the students’ study program and can be validated by the sending university, preferably with a grade and 2 ECTS. Participating students receive a certificate (including ECTS) with recognition of their results. In order to get as many different nationalities as possible every university is sending no more than five students to every business week. Students are accompanied by a lecturer of their home university (rare exceptions can be made). Students have to be present from the beginning until the end of the programme.
